Robotics End of Season Competition
The weekend of January 13 and 14, ISM’s Robotics teams had their end of season competition. All three teams have worked hard since early September building their robots and perfecting their competition strategy.
Their months of practice finally paid off on Sunday, January 14, where all three teams had competitive robots and two of our teams won the Judges Award trophy.
Here’s what the judges had to say about our award winning teams:
11812 We Robot #3, The International School of Minnesota
This team is very self-aware, focused on learning and firm concepts for what to do for planning and growth. Each experience is noted for this potential and excitement for development, with a maturity of insight into their strengths and areas of focus. An exciting team to watch move forward with these concepts.
11565 We Robot #1, The International School of Minnesota
This team had a mix of experienced roboteers and new team members. However, no team member knew how to program the robot. Undeterred, one member stepped up and taught herself how to code.
It was a great season. Our students put a ton of work in and were paid off with a great result. Thanks to everyone who helped make robotics a success and congratulations to our Robotics teams!
