Spanish language classes community excursion
Over 90 Spanish language students went on a cultural field trip to watch the Disney movie “Coco” and also got to enjoy a delicious lunch at Rojo Mexican Grill in Edina on November 28th..
As a surprise, the students were also given the opportunity to try a traditional Mexican drink beverage called “jamaica” made out of a dried flower petals. The petals are boiled like tea leaves and then served cold with sweetened water.
ISM Spanish teachers accompanied the students on this fun excursion to use their Spanish language skills, enjoy Mexican food, and see the popular film.
