Due to the uncertainty around the pandemic, The International School of Minnesota, will be providing parents a choice of how their child will learn for the 2020-2021 school year:
- On-Campus Instruction: Traditional, on-campus instruction with enhanced safety measures
- Online Learning: Teacher-led live streamed instruction
We are committed to ensuring students receive a safe and consistent education- online or in person. If required to move to remote learning, the school will follow State and/or Federal guidelines. We are fully prepared to transition to online learning or to follow a hybrid format if necessary.

Campus Safety Measures
Minimal Cross Interaction
Students are segmented into groups according to their grade-level and have minimal cross interaction with other groups.
Students will remain in their classes, with desks 6 feet apart. When possible, teachers will move between classes rather than moving students.
Wearing masks is required for all staff and students. Exceptions apply for meal/snack times as well as some modifications for our Early Childhood Education learners.
Cleanliness & Hygiene
We engage in consistent cleaning and disinfection of classrooms and shared spaces. Hand washing and other mindfulness of hygiene are also encouraged.
Students and staff will have their temperature checked before entering the school. A temperature of 100.4 F or higher will require the students of staff member to return home.
Each group will enter the school from one of four dedicated entrances and spend time in their respective classrooms. This supports efforts for minimal cross-interaction between grade levels..
