Terrence Shrader I have a Bachelor's degree in Music/Music Education and a Masters in Guitar Performance. I also have a Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership. I have worked and taught at two other boarding schools: La Lumiere in La Porte, Indiana and the Orme School of Arizona. At both schools, I served as Music Director, Coach, and Dorm Parent.
My hobbies include, playing music, writing music, writing screenplays, and watching movies. I am new to Minnesota, so I am eager to see as much of the state as possible. I will do everything I can to make the residential life experience fun, interesting, and safe.
Allison Frazier I am originally from the East Coast, but after moving to MN in 2009 and living the Cities for 6+ years, I consider this my home. I graduated from the University of Northwestern, St. Paul in 2013 with a B.A. in Spanish & Intercultural Studies and decided from that point on that I wanted to find a way to work with individuals from various cultural backgrounds. In addition, I spent my high school years studying at an international boarding school in Western New York, so I definitely understand what it is like to be a boarding student far from family and friends. Thus, being a Resident Supervisor in the ISM dorm seemed like a perfect fit!
Some of my favorite activities include: Traveling, backpacking, running, exploring new coffee shop in the Cities with friends, and photography. I have traveled throughout South America and was fortunate enough to live in Chile for three years. Most recently, I went on a one-year mission trip to teach Pre-K through 6th grade Art at a small international school in Santiago and just returned in July. Aside from teaching, I also enjoyed exploring various regions of Chile, eating the local food and backpacking in the Patagonia.
I am thankful that I have the opportunity to work with each and every student in the dorm and hope that they enjoy their time living in the residence hall for the remainder of the school year(s)! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or stop by just to say, "Hi!".
