Summer Camps

Discovery Kids Summer Camp

Join us for a summer of fun & exploration!
June 16 - August 8, 2025

Keep your kids busy this summer at Discovery Summer Camp, where activity and learning go hand-in-hand.  Our action-packed camp takes place on our private 57-acre wooded campus, adjacent to the Three Rivers Park District’s Bryant Lake Park and beach.  Campers get to explore campus while participating in music, art, swimming, sports, and world language, as well as a variety of exciting theme-based activities each week.

Our safe, engaging, and enriching summer experience is designed for children ages 3-12. Campers are grouped into “Husky Pups” (ages 3 - Kindergarten) and “Husky Pack” (grades 1- 6). Older students are able to participate in our Counselor-in-Training program!

Make new friends and reconnect with old friends; Discovery Summer Camp is open to students throughout the Twin Cities as well as those enrolled at ISM. Students can join us for one week or for the full summer.

Camp runs from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday with activities taking place between 8:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. daily.

Weekly Camp Themes

Week 1 (June 16-20): Power of Water

  • Take a dive into the world of marine life! Campers will learn about ocean ecosystems, in the world of Art and Science, and participate in water-based activities.

**4 Day Camp in Observance of Juneteenth 

Week 2 (June 23-27): Competitive Spirit

  • Let’s go campers! We’re going to add a competitive spirit among the campers while teaching them about teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership. Lets have some on the court, on the field and in the gaga pit!

Week 3 (June 30 - July 3): Natural World

  • Explore nature through the world of Culture! Campers will learn about plants, habitats and wildlife!

**4 Day Camp in Observance of Independence Day

Week 4 (July 7-11): Lights, Camera, Action

  • Campers will explore through music, as we put the spotlight in them! They will not only showcase their talent in a talent show, but also participate in music and dance!

Week 5 (July 14-18): STEM, Dinosaurs, & Crime Scene Investigators

  • STEM & Dinosaurs: This is perfect for curious minds! Campers will become mini scientists, all while conducting fun experiments and unleashing their creativity! We will also time travel to when dinosaurs roamed the Earth.
  • Crime Scene Investigators: This theme is designed for our older campers, who will participate in our CSI mock crime scene. They will solve the crime using real world techniques, obtain evidence, examine samples and more!

Week 6 (July 21-25): Full STEAM Ahead & Hoop It Up

  • Full STEAM Ahead: A week full of fun, hands-on STEAM adventures! Campers will develop important skills such as persistence, adaptability and creative problem solving.
  • Hoop It Up:  Campers ages 7-12 have the option to choose a three hour per day basketball track this week! We are excited to partner with Lynch Summer Basketball to offer this this exciting camp within a camp option to kids who are interested in improving their skills while having fun playing basketball. Campers will learn important basketball techniques (shooting, passing & dribbling skills, layup footwork, defensive & rebounding techniques, cutting to basket, etc.), compete in games and contests- all while taking their game to the next level. Players are separated by age, size, and skill level, with more advanced drills for the experienced player. 

Week 7 (July 28-August 1): Art Around the World

  • Get ready to be delightfully messy! We will take a trip to the colorful and creative world of Art. Campers will be encouraged to be curious, creative, imaginative all while having a blast!

Week 8 (August 4-8): Animal Kingdom

  • Perfect for animal lovers! Campers will explore the animal world and learn about different animal habitats, on and off campus.

Field Trips

Sea Life: Our campers are taking an exciting field trip to the Sea Life Aquarium where they will walk through the 300-foot ocean tunnel surrounded by sharks, sea turtles, and stingrays, explore the vibrant rainforest habitat, discover the wonders of the deep in Shark Cove and Ray Lagoon, and more. 

Minnesota Twins Game: Discovery Kids Campers will be heading to Target Field to watch the Minnesota Twins! There they will experience the thrill of a live baseball game, cheer on their favorite players, and soak in the electric atmosphere of a Major League ballpark. 

Minnesota Landscape Arboretum: The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is on our schedule for a day of outdoor adventure! Campers will visit the largest horticultural site in Minnesota with an almost 100-year history, wander through stunning gardens, hike scenic trails, and discover the wonders of plants, trees, and wildlife. 

Stages Theatre Company: We're also heading to Stages Theatre, where we'll enjoy a vibrant, family-friendly performance featuring talented actors, dazzling sets, and engaging storytelling. 

Science Museum of Minnesota: The Science Museum of Minnesota is on our agenda for a day filled with hands-on exploration! We'll be diving into interactive exhibits, experimenting with science in action, and exploring everything from dinosaurs to outer space. 

Minneapolis Institute of Art: Our campers are taking an inspiring visit to the Minneapolis Institute of Art! Explore incredible works of art from around the world, discover fascinating stories behind famous masterpieces, and spark your creativity through interactive exhibits. 

Como Zoo & Gardens: Discovery Kids Campers are off to Como Zoo for an exciting day of animal encounters! They'll get up close with amazing creatures like lions, giraffes, and polar bears while learning about wildlife conservation. With beautiful gardens and interactive exhibits, this trip is the perfect mix of education and fun.

SABIS® Educational Summer Camp, U.K.

An Experience of a Lifetime!

 

The SABIS® Educational Summer Camp is open to ISM students aged 10-18 years and offers them a motivating, inspiring, and exciting opportunity to learn, grow, and shine.

The camp combines learning and cultural enrichment with enjoyable on- and off-campus activities on 148 acres of verdant English countryside on the Ashwicke Hall Estate, just 90 minutes from London and Oxford and close to some of Britain’s top destinations.

In the previous years, over 200 students from more than 30 countries around the world traveled to Ashwicke Hall to enjoy the 4-week or 2-week summer camp in addition to the Manchester City Football Performance Program and the University Orientation Program. Students benefited from curriculum-packed mornings with carefully tailored academic classes; cultural, historical, and educational experiences; as well as many other exciting activities.

TWO-WEEK PROGRAM

July 7 - July 18, 2025 or July 21 - August 1, 2025

This program is being offered for those who do not want to miss out on this great summer fun experience, but are only able to join for a limited period of time. Campers can also enjoy their afternoons, evenings, and weekends participating in sports, music, art, horseback riding, trips, and cultural activities.

THREE-WEEK PROGRAM

July 7 - July 25, 2025

This program offers an extended summer experience, combining academic enrichment and exciting recreational activities. Students will have the opportunity to delve deeper into their academic interests while enjoying the vibrant culture and beautiful scenery of Bath.

FOUR-WEEK PROGRAM

July 7 - August 1, 2025

This program provides students with the opportunity to benefit from courses that enhance their academic performance and prepare them for the upcoming academic year, including SAT preparation for older students. All studies will take place in the mornings so students can indulge themselves in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends participating in sports, trips, music, art, horseback riding, and cultural activities, all in one of Britain’s most beautiful and culturally stimulating locations.

Public Speaking, Film Making, Coding, and Marketing courses will be offered to students with a limited number of places available.

MANCHESTER CITY FOOTBALL PERFORMANCE PROGRAM

June 29 - July 4, 2025 (boys aged 10 - 17)
August 3 - August 8, 2025 (boys aged 10 - 17)

Following the close affiliation of SABIS® with Manchester City Football Performance Program, registered campers can benefit from professional soccer training, which will offer them an exciting, league-quality football experience at the City Football Academy in Manchester City.

SAT PREPARATION AND UNIVERSITY ORIENTATION PROGRAM

July 7 - July 18, 2025 or July 21 - August 1, 2025

This program is designed for University Orientation and SAT preparation, and is offered to students who will be entering Grade 10 and above during the academic year 2025-2026. Students will visit top universities in the U.K. and can also enjoy their time in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends participating in sports, music, art, horseback riding,  trips, and cultural activities.

UNIVERSITY OF BATH ORIENTATION PROGRAM

July 2 - July 4, 2025 or August 4 - August 6, 2025

This 3-day program is designed for high school students entering grades 10-12 (Levels L-O) during the 2025-2026 academic year.

  • Introduction and Campus Tour: Explore the vibrant campus and gain a firsthand feel for university life.
  • Faculty Visits: Engage with renowned faculty members in the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences and the Science Department.
  • Departmental Immersion: Spend half a day each with the School of Management and the Engineering Department, experiencing their unique learning environments.
  • Essential University Skills: Participate in informative sessions delivered by the Admissions team on crafting compelling personal statements and understanding placement opportunities at the University of Bath.
  • Student Life Insights: Gain valuable insights into student life and support services through engaging sessions delivered by the Student Union.
  • Certificate of Completion: Receive a certificate of completion upon successful program completion.
