Our campus features an Olympic-sized track and field, indoor swimming pool, new professionally designed disc golf course, new robotics lab, new arts studio, state-of-the-art performing arts center, and forthcoming journalism and media center.

We offer a full array of non-contact sports including a junior and senior elite golf academy featuring a new golf simulator and instruction by PGA trained pros, volleyball, basketball, badminton, soccer, track and field, ultimate frisbee, disc golf, youth gymnastics and youth swimming.

At ISM you get to explore and develop all of your interests. One of our current boarding students is Andrew Cheng, a very talented 10th Grade student who has completely immersed himself in ISM life by leading the badminton team as well as being a Student Life Organization Deputy Head and member of the basketball team.

Ariel Jang, another very talented boarding student came to ISM to seek academic challenges and support her research projects. When Ariel is not in the lab working to secure multiple research patents she is a member of ISM’s winning math team and was selected as one of five ISM students to be among 64 students representing the state of Minnesota at the American Regional Mathematics League. Ariel has also participated on the school’s badminton team and robotics team, and is the SLO Deputy Head of Academics.

Residence Hall:

The ISM residential facility is located on the northeast side of a 57-acre campus that provides an ideal backdrop for a unique educational experience. The three-story, state-of-the-art facility can house up to 32 students in private/semi-private rooms and includes a theater recreation center, fitness center, laundry facilities, common areas, secure access with 24-hour security, and two live-in supervisors.

Campus Activities:

There is lots to do here on campus all year long with four distinct seasons in Minnesota.

Fall: hiking, biking, rollerblading, soccer, running, volleyball

Winter: sledding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, basketball

Spring: hiking, biking, track & field, Frisbee

Summer: swimming, biking, hiking, running

The ISM Campus is also frequently visited by beautiful wildlife, including:

Nearby Attractions & Activities:

The Mall of America: The largest indoor mall in the U.S. with 40 million visitors per year, includes a wide variety of shops, an indoor amusement park, an aquarium, and other attractions is 12-13 miles away.

Bryant Lake Park: One hundred and seventy (170) beautiful acres of rolling hills, woodlands, wetlands, and grasslands, Bryant Lake Park is a short 15-minute walk from ISM. At Bryant Park students can bike, fish, swim, go boating, picnic, hike, and more!
