ISM Students Deliver Exceptional AP® Results, Continuing a Tradition of Academic Excellence
Academic excellence is built over time through a strong academic program, high expectations, and consistent support. At The International School of Minnesota (ISM), that commitment continues to translate into exceptional student achievement.
For three consecutive years, ISM has earned the College Board’s AP School Honor Roll Platinum distinction, the highest recognition for the school’s expanding access to Advanced Placement coursework while supporting student success.
During the 2025–2026 school year, ISM students completed 94 AP exams across 21 different AP courses, achieving outstanding results:

Excellence Across the Curriculum
ISM’s results demonstrate both the breadth and strength of its academic program, with exceptional achievement across science, mathematics, humanities, languages, technology, and the arts.
Among this year’s highlights:

100% of AP Biology students earned a score of 5.

100% of AP Spanish students earned a score of 5.

100% of AP U.S. History, AP Statistics, AP French, and AP Physics Mechanics students earned a score of 4 or 5.

Students in 13 AP courses achieved a 100% pass rate, with every student earning a score of 3 or higher.

“Lasting academic success comes from the combination of an excellent academic program and an unwavering commitment to follow-through,” said Diana Abdel Samad, Academic Director at ISM. “Consistency is what transforms strong foundations into exceptional outcomes. Even when another check-in, another review, or another follow-up may seem redundant, we remain steadfast because it is that persistence and attention to detail that secure what we have started and ultimately turn potential into achievement.”
ISM’s AP results reflect more than performance on individual examinations. They represent a culture in which ambitious academic expectations are paired with the structure, guidance, and consistency students need to meet them. That culture continues to evolve as ISM expands its academic opportunities, adding new AP courses each year and giving students an increasingly broad range of pathways through which to challenge themselves.
Just as importantly, academic excellence at ISM does not come at the expense of a rich and balanced school experience. Many of the students achieving at the highest academic levels are also active participants in athletics, clubs, activities, and other extracurricular opportunities across the school. Year after year, ISM students demonstrate that exceptional academic achievement can go hand in hand with engagement beyond the classroom, reflecting an education that develops accomplished students who are challenged to learn, participate, contribute, and excel in all aspects of school life.
