This week at ISM classrooms were being moved and children were having fun at Summer Adventure Camp.
Due to the construction that will begin this summer, all classrooms needed to be cleared out in order for renovations to begin.
Summer Adventure Camp was filled with fun things to do! The kids have been learning French and learning about French culture. Their favorite day was when they got to try madeleines. They also learned about the Eiffle Tower and go to make their own version of it. In the mornings, they found mini frogs on the playground and played in Nature's Playground Nature's Playground is a special area with a small creek and lots of trees. This area gives kids the opportunity to explore the 'forest' while still being close enough to see ISM. They also had fun with Kid Create advisors in art class. One day the art project was drawing and painting a jellyfish did you know jellyfish do not have a brain? Friday they made their way to Bryant Lake for their fun beach day!
This week has been so much fun and next week will be even better. Stay tuned for next week's Husky Highlights!
