ISM Excels with 2024 AP® Platinum Honors
We are thrilled to announce that ISM has been named to the 2024 Advanced Placement Program® (AP®) School Honor Roll, earning a Platinum distinction. This is the second year in a row that ISM received a Platinum award, the highest level of distinction, which places ISM within the top 7% of the 5,061 eligible schools to achieve this honor. Furthermore, ISM is one of only 11 schools that have achieved the Platinum distinction across Minnesota. This recognition validates our commitment to student opportunity and success in the Advanced Placement program.
The AP® School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP® programs are delivering results for students while broadening access. Schools can earn this recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness.
2024 AP® Exams at ISM:
-
100% of seniors took at least one AP® exam during high school

“We are honored to receive the AP® College Board Platinum Award for the second consecutive year. This distinction is a testament not only to our rigorous academic program but also to the unwavering dedication of our students and teachers. This award inspires us to continue pushing the boundaries of academic achievement by expanding our AP® offerings and increasing access to these courses for all students,” says Diana Abdel Samad, SABIS® Regional Academic Director.
ISM is a part of the SABIS® Network, which includes schools in over 21 countries. This spring, 1,375 students in SABIS® schools around the world took a total of 2,943 AP® exams. With a remarkable 92% pass rate, our students have exceeded the global passing average of around 67%, a testament to SABIS' commitment to academic excellence. An impressive 69% of students achieved grades 5 and 4, demonstrating exceptional mastery of the subject matter.
At ISM, we offer personalized scheduling, which allows students to maximize the opportunity to take multiple AP® courses throughout high school. Seniors can graduate having completed up to 13 AP® courses. Taking AP® courses benefits students as they build their skills and confidence, and enter college well-prepared.
Congratulations to our students who have remained committed to their studies, and to their AP® teachers whose hard work has helped prepare our students for success.
